Dalle Khursani is a special variety of chilli grown in Sikkim, the Darjeeling hills and the Himalayas. Scarlet red in colour, it is one of the hottest chillies in the world. Dalle Khursani literally translates to 'Round chillies' owing to its physical attribute. In Nepal, it is also known as Akbare Khursani or Jyanmaara Khursani. The latter translates to 'Life-taker chill based on its taste!
